How to connect two atoms by a new bond?

I'm trying to connect two carbon atoms by a bond ( make cyclo-hexane from hexane )
The "bond tool" can only modify bond order of already existing bonds, not create new one (change molecular topology).I tried SAMSON for first half a hour after looking on tutorials.
The editations features otherwise seems very nice, but I'm quite suprised I cannot find this feature. -

To connect two atoms with a bond, use the Add editor: press on the first atom and draw a bond to the second one and then release. Please see the gif below:
