    Let me first say that I am very impressed with the animation in SAMSON.
    I tried to do an animation using the Gaussian representation.
    However, when I tried to use the Assemble animation feature it does not seem to work with the Gaussian representation. Is that the case or I am doing something wrong?

      Thank you very much!

      For the Gaussian surface to be updated, you need to check the "Update if atoms move" option for the Gaussian surface visual model in the Inspector:

      • select the Gaussian surface visual model in the Document view;
      • open the Inspector (Interface menu > Inspector or Ctrl/Cmd+2) or right-click on the visual model and choose "Inspect" from its context menu;

      • in the Inspector, check the option "Update if atoms move".

        This should update the Gaussian surface on each move of atoms for which this Gaussian surface was applied. Please note, that this might be quite slow for big systems.

          Dear @Eva ,

          We have improved the performance of surface visual models (Gaussian, Solvent Accessible, and Solvent Excluded surfaces) in certain cases. For example, now animations with them should be much faster. The visual models should be automatically updated for you once you restart SAMSON.
